Bar Battle: Federal Judge Settles Hallmark Disagreement In Between Irish Pubs

Settling a hallmark disagreement in between Irish dining establishments and bars, a Massachusetts federal judge approved a movement to dismiss counterclaims submitted by a dining establishment in Washington, D.C., in a case declaring infringing hallmarks.

Dubliner Inc., a District of Columbia corporation that owns and runs an Irish club called The Dubliner, submitted a hallmark offense versus 2 Boston pubs/corporations, who went on to bring 2 counterclaims versus Dubliner. The complainant submitted a movement to dismiss the accuseds’ counterclaims, which was given U.S. District Judge Judith G. Dein of the District of Massachusetts in a Dec. 13 viewpoint
